Whether you hike a section, paddle a stretch, or simply show up to cheer us on, public participation is welcome on select days throughout the expedition. These moments are designed to inspire, engage, and connect people to the power of nature and conservation.
Can’t Make It In Person?
Create your own SC7-style summer! Explore your local trails, float a scenic river, or organize a community cleanup. However you choose to participate, you’re helping us build a stronger, healthier South Carolina.

SOUTH CAROLINA SC7 is a partnership between two South Carolina based non-profit organizations, Global Eco Adventures and the South Carolina National Heritage Corridor. The mission of SC7 is to get people in the outdoors so they gain an appreciation for the outdoors, and therefore begin to actively do their part to protect the outdoors.
OUR MISSION:
Raise awareness of Floodwater Prevention & Resiliency across South Carolina.
Engage leaders & citizens in the protection and enjoyment of South Carolina’s natural resources.
THE SOUTH CAROLINA SEVEN (SC7) expedition will not only provide us with an opportunity to explore some of the most uniquely beautiful places on earth right here in South Carolina, but it will bring attention to – and create international awareness of – the natural treasures our state has to offer. Further, the SC7 adventure will serve as the perfect stage to highlight how South Carolina is leading the way in developing and advancing resiliency strategies to address adverse weather from a changing climate. This is key.”
